Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Program (New)

The SBA recently published a FAQ for the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Program. The FAQ includes information about eligibility, application, use of funds, and more.

The Targeted EIDL Advance provides businesses located in low-income communities with additional funds to ensure small business continuity, adaptation, and resiliency.

Advance funds of up to $10,000 will be available to applicants located in low-income communities who previously received an EIDL Advance for less than $10,000, or those who applied but received no funds due to lack of available program funding.

Applicants may qualify if they are located in a low-income community and they can demonstrate more than 30% reduction in revenue during an 8-week period beginning on March 2, 2020, or later.

The Herkimer County Industrial Development Agency is pleased to announce the development of a Microenterprise Grant Fund. Funding from the state in the amount of $200,000 will be granted to small and start-up businesses with five or fewer employees, that want to establish or expand a new or existing business located within Herkimer County. Grant amounts will range from $5,000 to $35,000, depending upon job creation and owner’s income status.
