As we enter the last quarter of this Toastmasters year, one of our goals is to think about a succession plan. As the District is getting ready for the annual conference, it is important to note that there are a variety of offices in the District that are up for election. If you are a Club President or Club VP of Education or a DEC member, you hold an important vote for the District Business Meeting, which will be held on Saturday, May 7th. Remember, Your Vote Matters at the District 101 Business Meeting.

Don't miss our Annual Conference to unleash “The Power Within You” on May 7th and 8th. This year's event covers a spectrum of topics that haven't been seen before! Up your game in writing humorous and engaging content. Sharpen your improv skills. Engage with a panel of innovators who will share how they went from an idea to successfully launching their businesses. Learn from our panel of executives who will share how to successfully navigate career changes and more! You will be sure to gain a lot of information, no matter what your goals are. This is the outside-of-the-box Conference you’ve been waiting for. Join us on Saturday May 7th & Sunday May 8th virtually from anywhere in the world.

In this last quarter, club officers are inspired to leave their club stronger than when they started. Charge your club with new energy to Bring Back Your Base Membership. Along with that, don't forget to continue to submit educational awards and Take a Leap - Leaping into a new distinguished level compared to last year. Remember, when a club earns Distinguished status or higher, it indicates that the club provides a positive and supportive learning environment to all its members, and helps them achieve their goals.

Do YOU have an idea for a new club? At your workplace, in your neighborhood or other community? An advanced club or a speciality club? Online club or a hybrid club? All ideas are good and it doesn't have to be complete. Please reach out to our Club Extension Chair, Solarzar Dellaporta at newclub@d101tm.org and he can work with you to flesh out the details. A new club may only be a conversation away.

With one vision in mind : One Voice. One Team. One District. let us give our all to the final quarter and achieve our individual and collective goals. Send me a note about your how’s, I would love to hear from you.
