BIG News for the Si View Aquatic Center Project!

King County Parks Levy Grants were officially awarded on May 3rd, and Si View's New Aquatic Center Proposal will receive $4 million dollars towards design and construction of a new facility. This is a huge win for our local community, and we are grateful for the support of King County Council. This funding will help offset the overall cost of the new facility.

On May 4th, Si View Commission approved a resolution for a capital bond measure for voter consideration in the August 2, 2022 primary election. District voters will weigh in on a proposal to support development of a new aquatic center that expands programming options and access to aquatic programs in the amount of $24.79 million. If approved by District voters, combined with the grant award and funds from the District's capital improvement projects fund, this project will be ready to move to the next step: design and development!
