Sick???? 7/5/23

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
I have always “heard” that the term “FEAR NOT” was used 365 times in our Bible BUT I only found 331.....................
But...........either/or FEAR is a powerful tool often employed by our enemy, satan!!!!!
As I type this message, Wednesday, 7/5/23 I remain sick-I hate the thought of even saying this.
Just a few short days ago I was walking 2 plus miles a day, going to a strenuous back/spine rehab and feeling GOOD-AKA-JAMES BROWN!!!!
DANGER FEARED IS FOLLY-DANGER FACED IS FREEDOM!!!
I admire those who face their fears-I DO NOT!!!!!
At the ripe young age of 72 I understand my days on this earth are too rapidly declining but I hold to the principle:
I AM NOT AFRAID OF DYING-I JUST DON'T WANT TO BE THERE WHEN IT HAPPENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jesus came in part to deliver us from this FEAR OF DEATH:
Hebrews 2:14-15 (KJV)
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Which brings me too the most powerful Scripture concerning FEAR:
1 John 4:18 (KJV)
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
“BECAUSE FEAR HATH TORMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
My beloved friend and son in the Lord, Pastor Smith has often said:
“The opposite of fear is not faith but LOVE!!!”
“PERFECT LOVE CASTEH OUT FEAR!”

When I was telling another good friend ALL the things I was doing to be in good health and living safely, his reply was apt to the point:
“So WHEN you die, you are gonna' die of nothing!!??”
So many of YOU are hurting today!!! Their names are too numerous to list but I share their-AND YOUR-burden today.
AND YES-it has come to this:
