           Pam will share some of her hard learned tips for best results and a variety of techniques. She will demonstrate specialty techniques and discuss how to achieve the fastest and easiest results. She will also bring a trunk packed with samples and exciting projects.

12:30 – 2:00 Quilting on a Serger? with Bernina’s top Serger Expert Pam Mahshie

          

  You might have never thought a serger would be something a quilter would need – but you’d have been wrong! Come see the many advantages there are for piecing with a serger and how you can elevate your quilts to a whole new level!

Meet Our Guest Educators!

Pam Mahshie is the Business Manager for Overlocker Machines with BERNINA of America. In this role, Pam leads product development directly with BERNINA factories, position and train BERNINA Dealers and work with the Education Department to create stimulating consumer events.

 

Prior to joining BERNINA of America, Mahshie spent over 30 years at Baby Lock where she held many roles including Regional and District Sales Manager, Educational Director and Ambassador of Education. Throughout the years, she has also appeared on numerous PBS programs including Sewing with Nancy, Martha’s Sewing Room and Quilting with Marianne and Mary Fons.

 Known as the “Decorating Diva” Pam Damour learned early in life, while spending time on her grandparents’ farm, that making something from “scratch” was not only a way of life but it was the better way of doing things. Holding on to those values she went from farm to fabric and has had a very successful 35+ year career as an interior designer and sewing professional. Pam offers professional drapery workroom training to the trade and consumers. As a seasoned career speaker, she travels internationally teaching her specialty techniques that have brought her years of continued business as the “Couture of Home Dec Sewing”.
