Join Our HR Round Table

The truth is HR professionals are the only ones who can truly understand the unique challenges of other HR professionals.

As a Human Resources professional, you're the go-to person when staff needs answers. You’re always there to answer inquiries, address concerns, provide wellness and mental health benefits, and develop policies and procedures to help ensure their success.

Where do you go to talk through your difficult issues? It’s very difficult for you to talk about these issues at your office. You don't have the time. You want to ensure that HR matters remain confidential. And, of course, there’s always something or someone else needing your attention.

The United Regional Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to providing this outlet for you. We had a successful program in the past and we’re looking forward to revitalizing it for our members in the HR field. You’ll have someone to talk with, who’ll HEAR you and propose a path forward. It’s more than just a sounding board. The people in this group are facing many of the same issues that you're facing. Being a part of the HR Roundtable will provide you with the guidance and support to help you do your job well, and the tools to excel as an HR professional.

We plan to meet once each month starting in April of this year. If you would like to join our HR roundtable or have any questions, contact [email protected].

Seven Windows Server Migration Questions You Must Ask Now!

Michelle Carlow from URCC Member CTS Services says,
"It's time now to say Bon Voyage to Windows Server 2012."

The Microsoft Support Ship Sails On Oct 23:
End-of-Life means no more Microsoft support for legacy boat anchor.

Make a plan to migrate - the risks of doing nothing are so not worth it!

The world has changed - and any lack of migration planning will jeopardize your company's ability to operate securely without disruption.

The first quarter is ending, and your migration planning should already be underway!

We are already busy in this post-COVID world of IT support and remote services. Yet, we are up for the challenge in helping every client enjoy a successful Windows Server Migration - but you have to do your part and start the process. We can't get the ball rolling for you!

If you are serious about lowering your risks and vulnerabilities, maximizing performance and security, and meeting all your cybersecurity insurance requirements - you must migrate to Windows Server 2022.

1.  Start the planning process by scheduling a migration planning consultation.
2.  READ the following questions and then refer back to #1 above.

Seven Windows Server Migration Questions You Must Ask Now!

When considering a migration from Windows Server 2012, it is important to ask the following questions to ensure a successful experience and avoid any disruption to your business:

1.  What are the specific needs of my business in terms of security, performance, scalability and applications?
2.  Are there current hardware or software limitations that must be addressed before beginning the transition process?
3.  What is the best approach for migrating data (e.g., in-place upgrade, or complete wipe and reinstall)?
4.  What processes need to be put in place to avoid disruptions during transition?
5.  Is specialized training needed for staff handling the migration process?
6.  How will user settings, applications and data be preserved during migration?
7.  Have appropriate hardware and software components been obtained prior to beginning the migration process?

Yes, say 'bon voyage' to Windows Server 2012! Our team of network professionals can help your organization migrate to a more secure and up-to-date solution: Windows Server 2022.

If migrating is your intention, then I urge you to schedule a meeting to assess your unique situation. Keep in mind, that staying with unsupported, legacy technology only leaves you more vulnerable!

Contact Michelle at [email protected] or 508-528-7720 to discuss migrating.
