A Novena of Masses for the
Peace of the Christ Child in
Our Families and in Our World
Celebrated by
Reverend Father Michael Oringa
Archdiocese of Gulu

Dear  ,

"Peace I leave with you, my own peace I give you; a peace the world cannot give, this is my gift to you. Let not your hearts be troubled or afraid" (John 14:27).

Have you ever noticed that there is an overwhelming lack of peace in the world today? Peace in our hearts, peace in our families, peace in our communities, and yes, even peace in our Church?

The Advent season is a time when we prepare our hearts again for the coming of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. We also look toward His final coming at the end of time. This time of preparation is meant to create in us a deep longing for that peace that surpasseth undertanding, which only Christ can give.  How can we cooperate in the grace of peace that God desires to bestow upon us?

What better way can we call down God's peace upon individuals and our world than to participate in a special Novena of Masses for peace in our families and in our world?  It is for this special intention that I have requested for you and your families  to have Reverend Father Michael Oringa, Director of Studies at Sacred Heart Seminary, Archdiocese of Gulu, Uganda, offer a special Novena in honor of the Nativity of Jesus, from December 24th, Christmas Eve, through January 1st, the Feast of Mary the Mother of God.

There are so many needs that weigh heavy upon our hearts today.  I hope you will join our novena by submitting the names of your family members, spouses, loved ones and friends along with any intentions you have.

Perhaps you feel called to pray for persecuted Christians. Maybe you know of a marriage that is going through a bitter divorce.  You may be praying for a loved one who has lost their faith.  Maybe someone you love is struggling with addiction.  There are so many situations that can rob us of peace both individually and corporately.

Please send them to us and Fr. Oringa will p ray  for them in a special way.  After submitting the names, you will be asked to prayerfully consider making a donation. In gratitude for your support, we have created a card which can be mailed to your loved ones. For a gift of $25 or more you will receive 5 cards.

Simply click here to submit your intentions for our Novena of Masses for Peace in our Families and in our World.  Do not miss this special opportunity to join us in prayer during this season of miracles!

Wishing you an abundance of hope, faith, joy and peace this Advent and Christmas season.

In His Service and with gratitude,
