Session Description

Imagine if you could better prepare governance teams to execute on their policy responsibility to advance work that will provide solutions to long-standing, seemingly unsolvable challenges. What if you could be better stewards of public dollars, resources and time through guaranteed alignment with equitable student performance outcomes for all subgroups of students? What if you had a better strategy to focus your annual work on the greatest levers of change? This session will engage you in a culturally responsive policy ecosystem framework to deepen your understanding of the bold policies needed to ensure that all students will fully access the promise of quality public education. This presentation and discussion will draw upon the experiences and historical perspectives of women in leading policy work.
