CPP Program - Key Updates
A New Opportunity for CPP Members
In our efforts to continually enhance the CPP rebate program, we are now sending rebates twice per year! Members that participate in the vaccine buying group should have received the first rebate check of 2021 in April, which reflects vaccine purchases between July 1 – December 31, 2020. The next rebate check will be sent in the Fall of 2021, reflecting vaccine purchases between January 1, 2021 – June 30, 2021. We hope this is beneficial as you recover from the pandemic.

To lighten your load, CPP is offering a new opportunity for buying group members to receive your vaccine rebate dollars via automatic bank transfer! That’s right…..and benefits include:

  • Funds Received Faster
  • Less Paperwork to Complete
  • More Efficient Process

To opt into this payment method instead of receiving a paper check, please complete and sign the ACH Authorization Form and return to CPP by email at CPP@Nationwidechildrens.org or FAX to (614) 722-2149. Once received, we will take care of the rest. CPP will notify you when your earned rebate funds have deposited into your account. If you have already submitted an ACH form to CPP, you do not need to complete it again.

Don’t miss this time-saving opportunity - opt in today!
Legislation to Address Vaccination Rates Needs Your Support
CPP highly encourages our members and all primary care physician practices to support The Strengthening the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program Act of 2021. This bipartisan bill addresses the drop in routine childhood vaccination rates due to the pandemic. The national American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), along with 25 other respected organizations, sent a letter of support for the bill. This letter highlights the need to increase payment rates for services offered to vulnerable populations (low-income children, pregnant women, and families of children with special health care needs) to ensure they have access to affordable, quality care and to support primary care practices that provide care to these vulnerable populations. It is fully supported by the CPP Board of Directors.

What can you do to help?

  • If you are an AAP member, please visit the AAP’s federal advocacy page (http://federaladvocacy.aap.org) to contact your local representative in support of this bipartisan bill led by Kim Schrier, MD, FAAP (D-WA), and co-sponsors John Joyce (R-PA), GK Butterfield (D-NC) and David McKinley (R-WV).
  • If you are not an AAP member, you can either create an AAP user ID and follow the instructions above or reach out directly to your local representative here: (https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials).
COVID-19 Vaccine Resources
Is your practice considering enrolling as a COVID-19 vaccine administration site? Moderna has created the following resources for practices who are looking to implement in-office COVID-19 vaccinations:

  • Checklist for the office
  • Slide deck with mRNA technology talking points to help address vaccine hesitancy and getting everyone in the office on the same page
  • “What to Expect” handouts for patients and families

Please visit the COVID-19 Resources on the CPP website for access to these resources.
