Where is Our RV Going Next?

The fight to keep Louisiana pro-life is about to start.

The first legislative session since Roe v. Wade was overturned starts in just a few weeks on April 10th. We expect some legislators to try to legalize all or some abortions during the session. We can't let that succeed!

We must keep our laws pro-life, but we will have opposition. Gov. Edwards has announced his support of abortions in cases of rape and incest. But we know that every person deserves a chance at life. We must support victims of sexual assault and defend the life of the innocent unborn baby!

Your legislators need to hear loud & clear that you want to keep our laws pro-life!

Please sign our "Keep Louisiana Pro-Life" Petition and we will share your support of life to your local legislators. Then, during session, we will ask you to reach out to them directly to encourage them.

Along with the importance of helping moms, we have been sharing the need to keep our laws pro-life along our RV tour. We had a great visit with Louisiana Baptists today in Alexandria, and we have more stops coming soon!

P.S. Walgreens and CVS will not be able to sell abortion pills at their stores in Louisiana thanks to our state laws. But that hasn't stopped online companies illegally mailing them into Louisiana. At a recent Pro-Life 101 presentation, a student told one of our team members that her sister had an abortion she regretted years ago but did not know how to support her in her healing. Thankfully, our Pulse Immersion Day can reach students just like her to help them understand pro-life apologetics as well as reach teens with post-abortion healing resources! At the retreats students often hear from other post-abortive women and counselors about these difficult issues.

We are pleased to announce the ninth annual Bowties for Babies: A Southern Style Soiree Benefiting Life! Bowties for Babies will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Capitol Park Museum.

The most high profile abortion case since Dobbs v. Jackson is slated to be heard today by U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk.

The case focuses on a lawsuit from the Alliance of Hippocratic Medicine against the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for their widespread approval of the abortion-inducing drug Mifepristone.

Join us on Wednesday, May 10th for Pro-Life Day at the Capitol! We will be meeting with legislators and encouraging them to protect every life from abortion!

Louisiana Right to Life is sending this RV across the state, hoping to persuade legislators to support anti-abortion laws in the upcoming session. The tour came to St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista on Tuesday.

Despite the blustery cold weather, the RV tour at Our Lady Queen of Heaven drew a crowd of approximately 100 pro-life supporters, including State Rep. Phillip Tarver.
