Jasper County School District will host Saturday Academy for the 2023-24 School Year on each campus, beginning January 20, 2024. Saturday Academy will take place 8 am-12 pm.

Saturday Academy is an amazing opportunity for our students to come and receive small group instruction via a targeted academic approach. This is also an opportunity for students in Grades 3rd through 8th and students who are enrolled in End of Course Assessments. The goal is to ensure that students whose academic data is below grade level have an opportunity to improve academically and avoid possible grade-level retention.

2024 National Youth Science Camp

The National Youth Science Camp is currently accepting nominations of current high school juniors or seniors for its 2024 in-person camp in the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. The National Youth Science Camp is designed to honor and challenge future leaders through engagement with STEAM professionals and exciting outdoor activities.

Spring '24 Kickoff Pep Rally and Professional Development

Tuesday, January 2, 2024, was the first day of the spring semester, and our team set the tone with an exciting pep rally. Congratulations to the Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence, which brought home the Spirit Award.
