Dear CRA Members,

The California Retailers Association is pleased to invite you to participate in our 2026 CRA Workgroups, designed to ensure retailers have a direct, meaningful role in shaping policy where it starts.

California is the nation’s most influential policy incubator. Decisions made here often become national standards. CRA workgroups are where policy becomes advocacy, and advocacy delivers results. Your subject matter expertise is essential to that work.

By participating in a CRA workgroup, your organization will:

• Gain early insight into legislative and regulatory developments

• Help identify and prevent unworkable mandates while reducing operational risk

• Ensure the retail industry speaks with a unified, credible voice to policymakers

There is no limit to the number of in-house representatives from your organization who may participate (with the exception of the Legislative Workgroup wich is limited to one representative per member company). 

To ensure these discussions remain member-driven, participation is limited to in-house team members only; contract lobbyists and consultants are not eligible to join.
