Host a Summer Intern
Are you a manufacturing facility looking for some extra help this summer in identifying waste reduction, and energy and water saving measures? Consider taking on an engineering student intern this summer.

MDE is partnering again with the Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership to support the recruiting, training and matching of student interns with Maryland manufacturing facilities. Learn more here.

Interested manufacturers should contact  Kerry Wells kwells@mdmep.org or Laura Armstrong
laura.armstrong@maryland.gov as soon as possible.
Look for the Leak Prize Drawing
Small leaks, whether they be in water supply lines or compressed air lines, can quickly amount to significant cost losses. If you look and listen for leaks at your facility, let us know and you'll be entered into a prize drawing at the Maryland Green Registry Awards event on June 14, 2017. You need not be present to win.

Flip the Switch
Daylight Hour is a simple campaign that asks participating offices to turn the lights off in day-lit spaces for one hour on June 16, 2017.

Sign up  here along with MDE and other Maryland Green Registry members and we'll see how many kWh were reduced based on square footage.

Who knows? If the natural light is sufficient in your space, you might not even need to turn the lights back on!
