Pysanka Workshops at the Ukrainian National Museum
We are excited to once again announce the
Pysanky (Easter Egg) Workshops
at the Ukrainian National Museum.
This year we offer them online via Zoom!
Class schedule from10:00 am to 12:30 am.
Hurry and select a date which best suits you. Take note of the deadline.
· Saturday, March 6 – Registration deadline February 25, 2021
· Saturday, March 13 – Registration deadline March 3, 2021
· Saturday, March 20 – Registration deadline March 10, 2021
Open for US residents only due to required workshop kit mailing .
COST: $35 per person, includes a complete kit (with dyes, wax, kistka), detailed instructions, preparation timeline and brochure. All items will be mailed directly to you once you have registered and paid for the workshop. You must register by the deadline to allow time for mailing the kit.
Registrant requirements: computer with audio and camera capabilities, reliable internet connection, web browser a valid email address and an egg.

No previous experience required to participate in the workshop. Recommended for ages 16+.
Maximum number of participants per workshop 12.
You will discover the art of writing pysanky by our expert Pysanka Instructor Anna Chychula. In each online session you will learn the process of how to use the tools (kistka, wax, dyes) and to write your own pysanka. Information about the history, meanings of the colors and symbols in this Ukrainian art will be shared during the workshop and it is also included in the materials sent to the registrants.
