Preliminary applications are being accepted for The Landing at Skillman Place. Our newest affordable housing complex features 70 newly-constructed units designed for residents 55 and older. Located next to the Montgomery Municipal Center, the complex offers residents direct access to services and programs.
The application form explains that, pursuant to state law, a random selection will be held by lottery for all preliminary applications received by RPM Development Group on or before 11 p.m. on April 20, 2026. The New Jersey League of Municipalities has announced the annual Louis Bay II Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition for high school juniors and seniors planning to continue their education.
Participants are invited to apply and submit an essay with the “What I Like About My Hometown.” One essay will be selected and the writer will represent the township as a state semi-finalist. Their essay and application will then be reviewed by the league’s Scholarship Committee who will select three winners to receive $1,000. The annual Run with Rotary is returning to Montgomery! Each year, hundreds of community members participate in the run through Skillman Park. The run is the primary fundraising event that allows the Montgomery-Rocky Hill Rotary to support community programs like the senior center, EMS, volunteer fire companies, food pantry and more.
This year’s race is scheduled for Sunday, June 14. Interested participants can join the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign team for the race or 1-mile ramble alongside neighbors. Early bird fee until April 30. Join the team here.
Hillsborough VFW Post #8371 is organizing a Veterans Information Session at 10 a.m. on March 14 in the Hillsborough Senior Activity Room. The session will feature two guest speakers who will discuss available benefits, services, and resources and answer questions about care and assistance. All veterans, including families and caregivers, are welcome regardless of branch or township of residence.
Pet licensing is required per Township Ordinance and NJ State Law. Please contact the municipal clerk’s office at (908) 533-9811 if you have any questions. Licensing ensures the protection of pets, their owners, and members of the community against rabies and other communicable diseases. Those who missed our free rabies clinics can attend the Rocky Hill Rabies Clinic on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Rocky Hill Firehouse (154 Washington Street, Rocky Hill, NJ).
