PSD Connectivity - January 11, 2019
Another way to receive information
The district will be adding text messaging capability as a new way for parents to receive information. SchoolMessenger, the system we use now for automated phone calls and email messaging, also provides a text messaging service for those who agree to receive texts.

Parents with cell phone numbers already included in the district's database will receive an invitational message beginning Monday, January 14 in the evening. Recipients can opt in by responding "yes."

Your voice matters

Tell us what you think. What can the district improve? What are some things you appreciate? The district is asking parents, students, staff, and community members to join the conversation - and your voice matters. Participate here: January 2019 PSD TE.

Information learned through this thought exchange will be used to gauge parent, staff, and community participation and understanding in interactions with school staff. It will provide feedback on satisfaction with the direction of the district and help the Board of Directors with decision making.

Celebrate Winter

Celebrate snowflakes, snowmen, and icicles.
Learn about blizzards, white-outs, and winter wildness next Thursday at the Karshner Center.

Kalles JH science teachers and student volunteers will handle dry ice, liquid nitrogen, and other "cool" science demos for visitors. January 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. - and it's FREE!
