HealthWest staff can now opt-in to receive text notifications from their Relias account profile. Text reminders include how many assignments a Learner has due within 2 days and a link to log into their Relias account to view and complete assignments.

Monthly frozen food giveaway suspended due to food shortage

Due to the inconsistent availability of donated frozen food items, HealthWest must suspend our regularly scheduled frozen food giveaways through the winter months.

The last scheduled frozen food giveaway will be on September 13.

Our plan is to monitor the quantity and availability of donated frozen food items throughout the winter months, with hopes of resuming scheduled giveaways in Spring 2024. 

During this time, we plan to make a significant effort to keep the Staff Support Freezer and dry goods pantry stocked. We will also be on the lookout for another donated freezer and/or refrigerator to keep additional items if possible.

New updates to Lat43

Progress Note Update

In an effort to enhance staff’s comprehension of the multi-selection feature within LAT43, progress notes have now been updated within the “intervention” tab on page 2 to include pre-checked fields to enable the multi-selection feature. 

Pre-checked fields include Interventions, Skill Enhancement, Case Management, and Person-Centered Planning. Each field will have the ability to select multiple specifics of that intervention, and staff will select all of those that apply.

Progress Note Enhancement: C-SSRS Risk Assessment link to create and record a new assessment will be added to the progress note on page 2. 

Biopsychosocial Enhancement: On page 4 of the index (Medical History), the question “If you do not have a Primary Care Physician, would you like a referral?” will be set as required.

Help the IT team update our tech inventory

IT is asking all staff to help us ensure that inventory data is as up-to-date as possible.

Please send the serial number and tag number of each piece of equipment that you have. This would include things like a monitor, docking station, laptop, iPad, or Microsoft Surface.

They do not need keyboard, mouse, or signature pad information. These do not get tagged.

The tag number we are looking to get along with the serial number is on a red or blue tag that says, “Property of Healthwest” on it. This is usually on the bottom or back of equipment.
