Dye, paint, embellish your shirt any way you wish and wear it all summer long to show off your unique style!

You'll find some fun ideas on CreativeBug, or Craft and Hobby - both resources are free with your library card. We'll also have some ideas and supplies to customize your shirt during our Summer Reading Kick-Off.

This year, we're switching it up and doing our foam party to START our summer reading program. Color our library sidewalks with your chalk art. Personalize your summer reading t-shirt at our decorating stations.* Dance in the foam and rinse off in our sprinkler garden.

Alana Yazzie, known as The Fancy Navajo, visited our library to talk about and sign her new book, The Modern Navajo Kitchen, and provided a cooking demonstration. Over 200 people attended, and learned how to make an amazing blue corn mush breakfast fruit bowl. Be sure to watch our events calendar, becuase we definitely invite her back!
