Neverland looking for Old Show DVDs converted from VHS

If you are an Alumni or Parent of an Alumni of Neverland Theatre and converted old shows VHS videos to DVD's, we would love to purchase one from you for our archives.

We have over 100 shows that were videotaped and have only transferred a few over.

If you converted one and would be willing to order an extra copy, let Andy Diskes know the cost and he will let you know if he has converted that one yet.

In fact it would be good for people to compare notes as to which shows that have been converted as to perhaps share them with each other.

Thank you very much for helping Neverland show the current generation of actors what Neverland did the first decade or so when many of the shows were originals.

Thank you.

Sign -Ups for BRADY BUNCH STAGED READINGS
For Adults, Teens and Children over 10

Neverland is looking for something fun, silly, creative and easy to produce towards the end of the summer that will also serve as a Neverland summer fundraiser.

Since some of us at Neverland are life long Brady Bunch fans, we thought it would be fun to do staged reading of some of the classic episodes. (In between scenes we will do classic 70's TV commercials.)

The twist will be that all ages can play the children. You can be 60 and play Cindy Brady, etc.

It will be sort of like You're a Good Man Charlie where adults portray the children. And of course children can portray children. Not sure yet if children can play adults. Cast will be in costume so plan on looking silly.

in 1992 a comedy troupe in Chicago staged Brady Bunch readings with adults and it ran for quite a long time and was a big hit with audiences.

We may even stage some of their famous musical numbers when they portrayed 'The Silver Platters"!

Neverland Director Andy Diskes saw the Brady Kids live on stage (twice) at Knott's Berry Farm as a kid.

He even wrote to the show asking to be on it. He is sure that he has the rejection letter stored away somewhere. But got an autographed photo as consolation.

If you are interested in signing up, please email Andy Diskes at neverlandtheatre@comcast.net .

Let us know if you are open for any role or only will accept one role. We will then assemble the best casts we can. There is potential for several casts. We may have an all adult cast, and an all child cast and an age-appropriate cast.

If there is not interest by Monday, July 1 we will shelf this project for a future time. So if you have an interest and want to sign up, please let us know and don't want til the deadline is over. It should be a groovy good time!

Directed by Andrew Diskes
PLEASE EMAIL ANDY at NEVERLANDTHEATRE@COMCAST.NET to sign up to be in the production.

This will be a staged reading version so no memorization is needed and very minimal movement! So the perfect show for some of you!!!!
