Parents, please join us on January 13 at 10am & 4pm in the Loft for our January parent meeting. We will go over the spring calendar, curriculum, volunteer sign ups, upcoming trips and other important information.
Upcoming Events
On January 6th join us for pizza, fellowship, and fun! We'll meet from 5-7pm to play games, tournaments and relax one more time before heading back to school the next day. Students are encouraged to invite their friends!
This January we are starting a new class/small group just for parents on Sunday Nights from 5-7pm! Our first gathering will be on Sunday, January 13th. We will meet for coffee and light refreshments in the Crest Cafe. At our first gathering we'll spend some time in fellowship, time in prayer for our students, and discuss what we want our time together to look like.

We hope that you'll take some time to join us! If you are unable to make it to our first gathering, you are welcome to join us at a later date.
All Youth, join us for a fun filled weekend getaway! We'll join other United Methodist churches from the Holston Conference for fellowship, worship, and to grow deeper in our faith. The price for the weekend is $135. This price includes 6 meals, lodging, and the conference ticket. You can register now with Signal Crest on-line. Space is limited, so students will want to sign up EARLY.
Resurrection Parent Meeting
Parents: On January 13 at 10:30am we will meet in the youth loft for an informative meeting about this trip. This meeting should not take any longer than 20 minutes. We will go over logistics for the weekend and we will answer any questions you may have.
Parent Volunteer Opportunities
HS Fellowship Hosts
On the first Wednesday of each month our high school students gather together in the home of a youth family. Students enjoy an hour of fellowship in the midst of their busy school schedules. If you would be interested in hosting our students you can sign up here. If you have any questions, contact Drew .
Snack Supper
Each week at Sunday Night Youth we have "Snack Supper." Snack Supper is a small meal for our students to eat together to help build relationships and community. We eat at 5:35pm.

Families that provide dinner should provide enough food for 60-70 people. You do not need to provide paper goods, plastic ware, or drinks. We encourage 2-3 families to partner together to provide the meal and we ask that one family stay to serve dinner and clean up.

A reminder email will be sent by SCUMY & by Sign Up Genius. The SCUMY email will give you an updated number on how many people to prepare for. If you have questions, feel free to contact Rebekah Ducote.

Sign up to serve snack supper here .
Open Loft Snacks
On Wednesday afternoons we open the Loft for students to have a quiet place to study followed by a time to hang out with their friends before dinner.

We are in need of snacks for our students while they study. We are taking donations of things like goldfish, pretzels, fruit snacks, and juice boxes. Donations can be dropped off in the front office labeled "Open Loft."
