Jamie is originally from Ft.Lauderdale was able to purchase his first home at a relatively young age and the process involved piqued his curiosity and also frustrated him, which ultimately led to his interest in becoming a home inspector.
When not busy inspecting properties, Jamie enjoys spending time with his family and working out. He earned his Personal Training certification in 2009 and spent over a decade as a private trainer in Palm Beach County. He even competed in several Strongman competitions over the years & at 47 believes fitness is the fountain of youth.
Jamie’s past careers (sales, small engine mechanic, & landscaping, to name a few,) have contributed to making him an exceptional home inspector. One who understands the dual nature of customer service and excellent work ethics. With nearly 10 years as a home inspector, Jamie’s knowledge and experience in all facets of property inspection is vast. He is a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) & adheres to Standards of Practice, abides by a Code of Ethics, and completes continuing education course far beyond the state requirement.

Dear Agent,
As a real estate agent, you can certainly provide the appraiser with information about comparable properties (comps) that support the value of the property you are selling. However, it is important to understand that the appraiser is a licensed professional whose role is to provide an objective and unbiased assessment of the property's value.
In some cases, the appraiser may not be able to accept information from a real estate agent or any other interested party due to rules and regulations aimed at ensuring the appraiser's independence and impartiality. In these cases, the appraiser may need to rely solely on their own research and analysis to arrive at a value.
That being said, if the appraiser is open to receiving information from you, you can certainly provide them with a list of comparable properties that have recently sold and are similar in terms of location, size, age, condition, and other relevant factors. This can help the appraiser arrive at a more accurate valuation of the property you are selling.
