Hoping this email finds you well as we head into the weekend with temperatures expected to approach triple digits .

Moving to some items that encompass the weekend, next week and more macro scale concerns….

2 Water related events happening this weekend- on Saturday the Gowanus Dredgers are hosting a jamboree at their boathouse and on Sunday it's Tanker Time aboard Portside's Mary A. Whalen.
The 2nd Annual Open Garden Day is tomorrow. To locate the participating gardens & what they’ll have to offer check out this map.
Assistant Speaker Felix Ortiz will be giving out rain barrels at his district office tomorrow from 10 am until 2 pm.
