Conserving Water Is Easy
Water-efficient technologies and products consume less water while having little or no impact on your lifestyle. Visit our partners page for details on available programs in your area. Not only is saving water the right thing to do, it can also save you money. Saving water may also lower your sewer and energy bills.

Indoor Water Conservation Tips

Outdoor Water Conservation Tips
  • Water between midnight and 6:00 a.m. to reduce water loss from evaporation and wind. Water your lawn and garden in 2 short cycles rather than one long one. Watering to a depth of 4 to 6” will encourage deeper healthier roots and allow the plants to go without water for longer periods of time.
  • Target your water use in your garden by hand watering exactly in the spots that need it.
  • Inspect and tune-up your sprinkler system monthly. Adjust your sprinkler heads to prevent water draining off your lawn and down the gutter. Reduce sprinkler run-time, and don’t be a gutter flooder.
  • Use a broom, not a hose, to clean your driveway, deck or patio. Washing a sidewalk or driveway with a hose uses about 50 gallons of water every 5 minutes.
  • Your water meter is an important conservation tool. It not only measures the amount of water you use, but can also tell you if there is a leak in your plumbing.
  • Use a bucket and a hose with an automatic shut-off nozzle when you wash the car, or take your car to a carwash that recycles. Save water by extending the time between car washes or take your car to a Sonoma Green Car Wash.
  • Cover pools and hot-tubs to reduce evaporation.Sheet mulching is a simple technique for converting lawn to a low water use garden and nurturing the soil.

Bishop Michael Curry - Pentecost Revival

Pentecost presents an opportunity to heal divisions, Presiding Bishop says during weekend revival

[Episcopal News Service] The celebration of  Pentecost  a feast marking the birth of the Christian church and spiritual renewal – rippled across The Episcopal Church in music and worship during the “ One in the Spirit: Pentecost Way of Love Revival Weekend ” from May 21 to 23. As many churches  resumed in-person worship  after a year of loss and hardship, the virtual revival gathered Episcopalians together online for inspiration and celebration, while also offering space for grief. Your prayers are requested -

During our Online Services, you, members of your family or loved one may find yourself in need of extra support and prayers from our faith community.  If you have a particular prayer request, please email Linda Dowd at lindahdowd@sbcglobal.net.
Prayer requests will be added to The Prayers of the People during our Sunday worship each week.
All of us know how important the volunteers are to the functioning of our church. I am so appreciative to every one of you, and I understand the effort that goes into your help, and sometimes your real sacrifice in helping the church business to run as it should.
I want to give a very special shout out to Ruben and Michael as they helped us to come into the 21st century. For the last three years Ruben served as Senior Warden, and chaired numerous critical committees. Michael has been our Treasurer and has assisted in Altar Guild and a wide variety of lay ministry roles. They helped establish and update our databases, the church financial accounting, and all things virtual and electronic, including a new website, and the building of our on-line worship YouTube program.
For all of their hard work and support, we are eternally grateful. For their love, we have so many warm feelings and memories.
With God’s Richest Blessings,
Fr. Jim and The Trinity Congregation

A Prayer For Peace

Eternal God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the strength of love: So mightily spread abroad your Spirit, that all peoples may be gathered under the banner of the Prince of Peace, as children of one Father; to whom be dominion and glory, now and for ever. Amen.
