Happy Wednesday, everyone!
We hope you're staying safe and dry on this rainy Wednesday!
It's been a busy and productive week so far here at the Silos, and we're excited to share a few highlights of what our team has been up to as we continue working to serve our community.
Future Silos Email Communications: Daniel is working on updating the "Silos Scoop" to only include the Weekly Lifestyle Updates, that will be emailed out each Wednesday. The manager updates will come directly from me on the "Cassie's Corner" which will come to you before the end of each week (in this case today). We hope by separating them, they won't be so long and more convenient for the residents. We will also set up a "Communications" page on the Silos Website to include a link to all of our emails, just in case you may have missed an email or can't find one that are looking for.
Manager Updates:
Office Staff
We wanted to share a quick update on what our Silos team has been up to this week!
π Your Lifestyle Director, Daniel, is back from a much-needed vacation! Be sure to stop by and see him tonight at the Financial Planning Event. Daniel will be in the office the rest of the week.
π Your Assistant Community Manager, Maryah, has been participating in CCMCβs Foundations of Success training sessions this week, so she has been in and out of the office. She will be back in the office all day Friday and ready to assist!
π‘ Your Compliance Coordinator, Larry, is attending off-site training this week with other CCMC Compliance Coordinators in the San Antonio area. He will be back in the office Monday and excited to report back to the team what he has learned.
π Your Interim Community Manager, Cassie, had the opportunity to participate on a panel yesterday at the monthly Community Association Institute (CAI) Education Brunch & Learn and was back in the office that afternoon. I will be onsite most of the day today, in the afternoon tomorrow, and most of the day Friday.
I also want to personally thank everyone for your patience and understanding. I received several emails and phone calls last week and want to assure you that your questions and concerns have not been forgotten. I am working through each item and appreciate your patience as I get caught up and respond to everyone.
π§ Your Facilities Maintenance team member, Phillip, has been busy keeping our amenity areas looking great and ensuring everything stays clean, functional, and ready for residents to enjoy!
Mailbox Damage
We have reports of another mailbox that was damaged on Pickaxe Way - near Mulch Ct this morning. Regardless of the street you live, please make sure you are picking up your mail frequently, in hopes that it doesn't go missing. Please also report any damage to BCSO 210-335-6000. - We are also doing the same, but the more calls they get, the more of a chance we can get them out more often.
Compliance Violations - Reminder
Please keep in mind that with the current weather, we are not expecting residents to be out manicuring their lawns in the rain. However, once we get a few dry days, we kindly ask everyone to take a little time to tidy up their yards and help keep Silos looking beautiful β before the weeds decide they want to turn us into the next State Park! π³
Project List:
- Metal Fencing around the Pool and Playground - Weather and the project assessment has delayed project. More movement will come next week (weather permitting).
- "SILOS" Monument Lights - Pending Board Review at tonight's meeting.
- Compliance Process Audit and new Process - In progress
- Landscaping Projects (Mulch and Dead Trees) - In progress
Please let me know below if this email was helpful
ο»Ώand if you would like to keep them coming weekly!
As always, if you need anything or have questions, please donβt hesitate to reach out. We are here to help!
Have a lovely day!
