Honoring the Fallen: A Tribute to the Three Palm Beach Sheriff Deputies

The Palm Beach County community is mourning the loss of three brave Sheriff's deputies who tragically lost their lives in the line of duty. On November 21, 2024, Corporal Luis Paez, Deputy Sheriff Ralph “Butch” Waller, and Deputy Sheriff Ignacio “Dan” Diaz, were struck and killed by a vehicle while on the side of the road, serving and protecting our community.

These three dedicated public servants left an indelible mark on the lives of those they touched. Their selfless commitment to keeping our community safe is a testament to their character and a reminder of the risks they took every day to protect us.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is known for its excellence and dedication to public service, and these three deputies embodied the highest standards of their profession. Their loss is a devastating reminder of the dangers faced by law enforcement officers every day, and we are forever grateful for their sacrifice.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of these fallen heroes. May their memories be a blessing to us all, and may we continue to support and honor the brave men and women who serve and protect our community.

A Moment of Reflection

As we reflect on the lives and service of these three deputies, we are reminded of the importance of respecting and appreciating the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers and their families. We encourage everyone to take a moment to express their gratitude to those who serve and protect us, and to hold the memories of these fallen deputies in their hearts.

Supporting the Families

If you would like to support the families of the fallen deputies, please consider donating to the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association Fund to support the families of fallen deputies https://pbcpba.org/pbso-motormen-donations/.

We will never forget the sacrifices made by these three brave deputies. May they rest in peace, and may their memories inspire us to be better citizens and a more compassionate community.

At Silver Injury Law We Have Been Known to Walk "The Last Mile"

At Silver Injury Law we've been known to walk the "last mile" for our clients meaning that, when liability is uncertain or disputed, we will literally walk the "last mile" on the roadway before an accident happened so that we can see what the other motorist should have seen but didn't. We are mindful that, while we will move on to the next case, our clients only have one case so we conduct our own investigations to turn over every stone so that Justice can be allowed to prevail. Absolutely nobody is as thorough as me and my team in our pursuit of justice. - Bruce Silver Esq.
