Local Hero of the Month: Chief Patrick Kennedy

This month, we recognize Patrick J. Kennedy, Fire Rescue Administrator for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, as our Local Hero. Chief Kennedy leads one of the largest and most advanced fire rescue departments in Florida, serving hundreds of thousands of residents across Palm Beach County. Under his leadership, the department continues to set a high standard for emergency response, innovation, and patient care while handling a significant volume of calls each year.

An Evening of Insight and Interaction: Trivia Night with the South Palm Beach County Bar Association

Silver Injury Law was proud to be a sponsor of this year’s South Palm Beach County Bar Association Trivia Night—an evening that brought together legal professionals from across the community for a fun, fast-paced, and engaging event.

Held in a lively and collaborative atmosphere, Trivia Night offered attendees the chance to test their knowledge across a wide range of topics while strengthening connections with colleagues and peers.

From pop culture and history to law-related questions, the competition was spirited and the camaraderie unmistakable.

The Silver Injury Law team was thrilled to be part of such a well-attended and energetic gathering. Events like these highlight the strength of the local legal community and reinforce the importance of building relationships beyond the courtroom.

Silver Injury Law extends its thanks to the South Palm Beach County Bar Association for hosting a fantastic event and to everyone who participated. The firm looks forward to continuing its support of initiatives that bring the professional community together in meaningful—and enjoyable—ways.

Silver Injury Law Highlights Distracted Driving Awareness Month

As April marks Distracted Driving Awareness Month, Silver Injury Law is encouraging drivers to stay focused and make safer choices behind the wheel.

Distracted driving continues to be a leading cause of preventable accidents, often involving everyday behaviors such as texting, adjusting GPS, eating, or engaging with passengers. Even a few seconds of inattention can result in serious, life-altering consequences.

This month serves as an important reminder that safe driving requires full attention at all times. Simple steps—like silencing your phone, setting navigation before driving, and keeping both hands on the wheel—can significantly reduce the risk of a crash.

Silver Injury Law remains committed to promoting safety, accountability, and awareness throughout the community. By making mindful decisions on the road, every driver can play a role in helping prevent accidents and protect lives.

Driving Awareness: Silver Injury Law and Dori Saves Lives Present at Boca Raton Community High School

Silver Injury Law recently had the privilege of partnering with Dori Saves Lives to deliver a traffic safety presentation at Boca Raton Community High School, an initiative focused on educating students about the real-life consequences of distracted and impaired driving.

The presentation combined powerful personal stories with practical guidance, emphasizing the importance of making safe, responsible decisions behind the wheel. Students were encouraged to think critically about everyday choices—such as texting while driving, speeding, and driving under the influence—and how those decisions can have lasting impacts on their lives and the lives of others.

Through this collaboration, Silver Injury Law aimed to reinforce a simple but vital message: safety on the road starts with individual responsibility. Engaging directly with students in an open and honest dialogue created a meaningful opportunity to raise awareness and inspire safer habits among young drivers.

Silver Injury Law is grateful to Dori Saves Lives and the administration and students at Boca Raton Community High School for welcoming the team and supporting this important conversation. The firm remains committed to initiatives that promote safety, education, and community well-being.

At Silver Injury Law We Have Been Known to Walk "The Last Mile"

At Silver Injury Law we've been known to walk the "last mile" for our clients meaning that, when liability is uncertain or disputed, we will literally walk the "last mile" on the roadway before an accident happened so that we can see what the other motorist should have seen but didn't. We are mindful that, while we will move on to the next case, our clients only have one case so we conduct our own investigations to turn over every stone so that Justice can be allowed to prevail. Absolutely nobody is as thorough as me and my team in our pursuit of justice. - Bruce Silver Esq.
