Even though we are NOT OPEN, for shooting, we have been busy getting ready for the day when

Alberta Health Services gives us the go ahead to re-open.

Much work continues behind the scenes at Silver Willow, with some long planned improvements that normally can’t be done while we are open. We are making the most of this opportunity!

Josh in the skid steer, working up the path ways to ready them to receive recycled asphalt topping.

This pathway work is being done on the summer Blue Course.Now that the tilling is done and the topsoil is being removed, we are awaiting the asphalt to be delivered and spread over the matting thats being laid down. Then levelling and packing will compete it.

Josh has been very busy with getting a tune up and maintenance on all the clay thrower machines from the Summer Blue Course.

Super Sporting Shoot

Mar 29th - (Fun Shoot)

This was our 1st annual Super Sporting Shoot. It offered shooters the opportunity to get their trigger finger warmed up for the 2020 shooting season. The configuration was shooting all 4 traps on the winter course at the 14 stations. Shooting layout was similar to this.

Getting through the COVID-19 doldrums, …

With winter finally winding down and relaxing its icy grip, many of us were eagerly anticipating a return to the clay target range. Those plans, however, were put on hold as the coronavirus pandemic swept across the globe, and we are still awaiting the green light (some patiently, some not so much) to be able to get back to the business of smashing
