Buster Day Fun Shoot -
Saturday Sept 19th

This shoot is dedicated to honoring Buster Day, Don's Dad and Josh's Grandpa. Buster, an avid hunter and clay shooter owned the land that Silver Willow is located on.

If you haven't noticed it before, there is a memorial plaque which is located between the green course station 10 and the duck pond.

It was perfect shooting weather for the Buster Day True-Pair, Josh did a great job setting up the course. We had a good turn out and are always happy to see how many shooters come out every year in honor of Buster.

Congratulations to Kevin Cole
with a HOA score of 109/120

Etiquette, or courteous behavior, in the shooting sports is rooted in a desire to combine both safety and respect for fellow shooters. When everyone understands the fundamentals of etiquette, the enjoyment factor for the activity increases markedly. The following points are a representative, rather than an exhaustive, list of etiquette tips for bird game hunters. I am hopeful that after having read through the list, you will be able to add one or two more of your own.

Farewell to George

On September 26, George with be leaving us to start his new job at a mechanic shop in Olds. His intention is to do a Heavy Duty Mechanic apprenticeship . George, started working for us part time when he was in high school. He has now been with us for 5 years.

George is going to miss all the members and staff he has come to know at Silver Willow. Hopefully we'll see him back shooting the Blue course once in a while.
