The Details
This offer extends to any public library that:

1. Uses one or more of the following e-content services:
  • Axis 360 ebooks & audiobooks
  • Biblioboard ebooks 
  • Bibliotheca cloudLibrary ebooks & audiobooks
  • DPLA Exchange ebooks 
  • Overdrive ebooks 
  • RBDigital ebooks & audiobooks

2. Authenticates patrons through their ILS using:
  • Auto-Graphics VERSO
  • Biblionix Apollo
  • Evergreen
  • Koha
  • III Sierra
  • III Polaris 
  • TLC CARLX
  • SirsiDynix
  • SirsiDynix Symphony
  • SirsiDynix Horizon

Other ILSes will be considered but may take more time as they are not currently integrated with the SimplyE service.

Amigos will, with the library’s help, configure SimplyE access for the library. Library patrons will have 3 months of SimplyE use from the date the app is live. At the end of this time, the library may continue access at normal pricing or discontinue the service.

Depending on the response to this offer, libraries may be staged over weeks. Amigos staff will work with the library throughout.

Complete this SimplyE Library Implementation Form and email to simplye@amigos.org with “SimplyE Offer” in the subject line. In the form, asterisks denote required information. You may need to contact your e-content or ILS vendors.
About SimplyE
SimplyE is an open source app that allows your patrons to search across ebook and audiobook providers to find, download, and read or listen through a single uncomplicated, straightforward interface. Created originally by the New York Public Library, many consortia and state libraries are supporting and hosting it for their public libraries. Amigos is a primary contributor and hosting provider for this open source project.

At this time, SimplyE is available on the iOS and Android platforms. Be aware that only the current version of Android is fully supported, whereas current and older versions of iOS are supported. Support for older Android versions is under development but will not be available within this timeframe.
