Showtunes Sing Along
Returns March 2020
NEW IBERIA, La. --- Envision da Berry (501 c3 non-profit) returns in March with their ever-popular free event, Showtunes Sing-along.

The live piano karaoke extravaganza will happen at A Spot for Tea, an Acadian Tea Room (108 E. Main St.) on Saturday, March 21 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m., and will continue to reoccur monthly.

Everyone is invited to attend this event, especially those who enjoy group singing their favorites from Broadway musicals such as The Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, Annie and Les Miserable. If there are any songs missed, feel free to donate and request something out of their songbooks. Donations go back toward Envision da Berry.

A Spot for Tea will be offering a full menu including many teas, wines, beers, and tasty local food to help get you in the mood for singing. A live pianist on the keyboard will accompany the audience and lyrics will be projected on a screen to help everyone follow along.

During the first half of the evening from 6:30 - 8 p.m., the crowd will enjoy regular requests and classic Broadway favorites. Then, in the second half of the evening, from 8:15 - 9:30 p.m., the music will edge toward more modern musicals and standards.
