CYSD Proud

We recently welcomed the North York Regional Police Department for a special lunch in the Sinking Springs Cafeteria. Throughout the year, the department has been wonderful and we wanted to thank them for all that they do for our school and community. Our learners provided them with a delightful lunch and handmade cards to share our gratitude. If you see any members of the department around the community, take a moment to thank them for supporting our school and our learners!

Orientation -  Parents of Sixth Grade Students
You are cordially invited to an orientation program for parents/guardians who will have a child entering 7 th grade at Central York Middle School during the 2018-2019 school year.  The orientation program will be held on Wednesday evening,
May 23, 2018 at
6:30 pm  in the Central York Middle School auditorium. The purpose of the orientation is to inform parents about the middle school courses, programs, and opportunities.  This evening session is for

The incoming 7thgraders will have their opportunity to learn about middle school life during our "Move the Pride Day" at the end of the school year, the date is currently pending. At that time, learners will meet their team of teachers, learn the schedule, and tour the building in order to foster a comfortable transition from their intermediate schools to the middle school.
Sixth grade students are often excited about this change and are eager to make the transition from intermediate to middle school life.  We hope you will echo that excitement after you join us on May 23th and learn more about Central York Middle School.  We look forward to seeing you!
