TLC E-Transmissions - Sunday, November 4 thru Saturday, November 10
All Saints' Day celebration has a long history in the worship life of the Christian Church. It began as a commemoration of the martyrs who had died for the faith, and it has since become a day when we honor and remember those who, in death, have joined the Church Triumphant, as well as the faithful saints of the present who serve Jesus Christ. Martin Luther held that all Christians are simultaneously sinner and saint--a sinner because of our rebellious nature, but a saint because of salvation in Jesus.

We Need You in Planning Our Future Together
To be honest, we don’t know if you have completed the Church Assessment Tool Survey (CAT) because each person’s answers are anonymous. BUT, if you haven’t already, please shed some light on your experiences at TLC. It will only take about 15 minutes. For your convenience, the link to your CAT is provided again below.

Please remember-this link is not transferable. Please do not forward it.

Marilyn Rundberg is the winner of the recent drawing at TLC for a free pass to the 2018-2019 Concert Season of the National Lutheran Choir. Youth & Family Minister Ben Cherland warms up with Aiden and Emieline Gardner
Halloween evening at TLC began with a casual, yet uniquely themed Oasis worship service. Anybody attending had the option to dress in Halloween costume and/or unusual makeup. Some did, especially after Pastor Arthur’s daughter, Richenard, was the ipso facto makeup artist for the night - delighting in the freedom to paint dad’s face.
Following the service, all were invited to the west parking lot to make s’mores by the recreational campfires and welcome neighboring tricksters & treatsters to join-in.

Leftover Halloween Candy?

This Tuesday, November 6, is election day throughout the United States. For Bloomington residents in Precinct 26, TLC is their designated polling site all day Tuesday.
If you have leftover candy from Halloween, please consider donating it to TLC as sweet treats for the voters. TLC is known for its hospitality, let's extend the welcome to all performing their civic duty that day.
Please drop off your candy anytime during Sunday services or weekday office hours up to Tuesday morning.
The TLC Youth program has created a wish list in hopes of getting some needed things that are not possible in their budget. All of the wishes would be useful and help enrich the experience our kids have here at church. Please visit the list online by [Clicking Here]

Your considerations and gifts are welcome. L IST
