"May we all strive for peace, and in our happiness,
may we deal in the basic reality of our Identity
as
created by the Creator.
May our Self not put itself
into the falsehood of time and space,
and may we
penetrate through the time and space in peace,
with justice, honor and grace."

Information about Weekly Akhand Path and Guru's Langar Seva Schedule
|
Guru Ram Das Ashram's Weekly Akhand Path*
Begins Wednesday mornings at 6:00 am and concludes on Saturday mornings
with Bhog Ceremony at 6:00 am
Guru Ram Das Ashram holds an Akhand Path every week.
This tradition has been consistently upheld for over 35 years, deeply imbuing
Guru Ram Das Ashram and its visitors with the healing vibration of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.
Many community members schedule a specific time to read in every Akhand Path;
others choose different days and times.
Please call the GRDA Sevadar Desk (310) 858-7691 with any questions regarding the Weekly Akhand Path. |
Guru's Langar Seva Schedule
for Sundays and Gurpurbs
Serving food to all is part of our worship. Our "community kitchen" is run by seven teams,
each with a Jethadar (team leader). Each member of the community serves with their team,
and whenever they like to join in. You can donate your time, money, and
even take charge of it
all for a special event like your birthday.
Call the Head Jethadar for ideas: GuruMeher Singh
310-508-0309.
To provide Guru's Langar for Sundays and Gurpurbs,
please call the Sevadar Desk
(310) 858-7691 to see what dates are available.
After signing up you will speak with the Jethadar of the day to make arrangements.
|
Guru's Daily Langar Program
(in addition to Sundays and Gurpurbs as described above)
Guru's Langar is presently served on weekdays (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
from Noon - 1:00 pm and on
Saturday mornings from 6:30 - 7:30 am.
after the Bhog Ceremony.
If you wish to serve Langar during those times,
please sign up on the calendar
on the bulletin board
at Guru Ram Das Ashram.
