Great Art for a Great Cause This Sunday

Artists in Action, a group of local artists, is hosting its second annual art sale fundraiser to benefit Sister Carmen Community Center (SCCC) on Sunday, June 7th, from 2-6pm at the Tri-City Elks Lodge at 525 Main Street in Louisville. The artists donated almost 500 pieces of their work to sell, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward supporting the programs and services of Sister Carmen!

As we continue to face decreased funding amid growing need in our community, we're incredibly grateful to this compassionate group of talented artists for coming together to support SCCC in this way.

We'll also be selling Sister Carmen Kindness Matters T-shirts for $25 at the event. All proceeds from the T-shirt sale will also benefit SCCC. Support us while spreading kindness and awareness of our organization in the community.

Can't make it? You can still support SCCC by helping us spread the word about the eventtell your friends and neighbors, share our Facebook and Instagram posts, or forward this email. You can also make a secure online donation here. Thank you!

Thanks for Stamping Out Hunger

We're so grateful to everyone who helped make the National Association of Letter Carriers' Food Drive in May a success! The 9,000 lbs of food and household items collected during the Stamp Out Hunger event will go a long way in helping those in need during the summer months.

Come Exercise with us This Summer!

Free and open to all! Free childcare also available. Enter through the sunflower door on the south side of the building, near the garden.

A vibrant Latin ensemble kicks off The Cultural Caravan's 5th Annual June Festival with food, drink, and dance in the parking lot outside the Read Queen Bookstore & Cafe.

This year's festival runs from June 4th-14th, with a dozen events scheduled around Lafayette, Boulder, and Erie. Click here to see all of the events. Admission to most events is free, but registration is appreciated to help organizers prepare.

We highly recommend attending a Zimbabwean Marimba Workshop (June 6th in Lafayette, June 13th in Erie), if possible. We have hosted this event in the past, and it is a joy for all ages!

We're proud to partner with The Cultural Caravan to make the arts accessible to all!
