Is your freezer fish stock getting low? Let us help :) . Our King Salmon fishing season is 2 months away and the state regulations this year are: One a day, 3 in possession for both May and June.
The first week of July it will drop to two in possession.
After that, for the rest of the season, it will be One Annually.
If you are an avid King Salmon fisherman, like most of us, looking at May and June to book your fishing trip, would be very beneficial.
The Commercial fleet will open, as usual, the first week of July for about their standard 7 day period. Halibut regulations are 40 inches and under - 80 inches and over, One a day. Ling Cod are the same as the last few years, One at 30-35 inches and if you’re lucky, one over 55 inches.
Silver Salmon, that normally arrive at the end of June through all of September, are still
6 a day, every day. There has been an entire state wide closure on non-Pelagic rockfish (Yellow-Eye).
Sitka is still one of Alaska’s favorite destinations and we’d love to have you fish here with us! Our trips can be ‘a la carte’ or, as many prefer, “all inclusive”.
If you have already booked with us, GREAT!! We are just basically sending out an “email Blast” to all of our past guests and to those who might be interested for the upcoming season. See you soon.
Let the Scales Fly!
