Last week to complete the School Interest Survey

Every household from the Saint William community is being invited to complete the School Interest Survey. The possibility of a Catholic Classical school is being considered at Saint William and the school interest survey is the first of several important steps both the Diocese of Austin and our Pastor, Fr. Francisco, need answered to better understand the needs of our community. This is why every family's participation is so important.

Ash Wednesday Schedule

February 14


 6:30 am Mass

There will be no distribution of ashes outside of the liturgies.

 

The Lent and Easter calendar will be distributed during Mass the weekend of February 11.

Schedule Update: Parish Office & Mass/Confession 

Feb. 19


Due to Presidents’ Day, the parish office will be closed Feb. 18 & 19. Daily Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am on Monday, February 19.


There will be no 12:15 Mass and no Confessions.

Priest Lenten Day of Prayer, Feb. 20




Due to the Priest Lenten Day of Prayer, there will be a Communion Service at 12:15 pm.

Anointing of the Sick

February 11


Those who are registered will be invited to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick during the weekend of Feb. 11.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

February 25


Children’s Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for young children who have not yet received their first Holy Communion to attend a liturgy designed for them. During this time, children will be encouraged to grow in love and reverence for the Lord in the Eucharist, the scriptures, and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  For questions or more information, contact Tara via email by clicking the button below.

Breakfast, All Are Invited

February 25, following Mass at 7:30 am and 9:30 am


The Guadalupanas will be hosting their next breakfast following the 7:30 am (Spanish) and 9:30 am (English) Masses in the Parish Hall (Bldg. 3). All are invited. Debit/credit cards are accepted.

Big Event 2024

Raffle Tickets Coming February 11


Saint William will be hosting its third annual Big Event on April 25 & 27 on our parish grounds. Proceeds from this parish event will benefit Saint William and our general operating expenses and faith formation programs.


The drawing is back this year—the Grand Prize is a truck! We encourage each of you to help make this year's parish event a huge success and invite you to prayerfully consider buying or selling a set of 10 tickets for the drawing—each ticket is $10. Raffle tickets are now available in the Welcome Center and parish office.

Ashes to Action Food Drive


The Ashes to Action Food Drive, benefitting the food pantry at the society of St. Vincent de Paul, is underway. Donation bags will be available after Mass.  

Knights of Columbus Fish Fry, Fridays during lent


The Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Lenten Fish Fry on Fridays, starting on Feb. 16, from 5 pm - 7:30 pm in the Pavilion as part of their service to the community. Cost per plate: $13

Women’s Lenten Retreat: The Victory will come through Our Lady—Confronting the Spiritual Battle with Marian Hearts, March 2, 9:20 am to 2 pm (Parish Hall)


Hosted by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and presented by The Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary.


The focus will be on the temptations of Jesus in the desert and the temptations we face and how to confront them as women and what we can learn from Our Lady to do so. Doors open at 8:30 am for coffee and fellowship. Optional bilingual Mass in the Sacred Heart Chapel at 8:30 am. Lunch is provided. Please register by February 25, 2024.

Men: Are you being called to serve as a deacon?


Project Stephen provides an opportunity to actively engage men who are discerning their call to a deeper relationship with God through service as a deacon. This is a time of prayer and reflection, and an opportunity to discuss one’s call with others. Hear witness from a deacon, his sense of call and life of service, and learn about the qualities, characteristics, charisms, and aspects of the diaconate and of formation. The next Project Stephen meetings include the following:


  • Feb. 18 at 3 pm to 5 pm at St. Joseph in Bryan with 5:30 p.m. Mass to follow.
