Priests' Health & Retirement

June 7/8 | All Masses

The archdiocese is committed to caring for our priests, but we need your assistance. Priests have dedicated their lives to ministry, serving our needs as Catholics from the moment we are baptized until we receive last rites before entering eternal life. Priests’ Health and Retirement/PRMAA provides for the health and well-being of 386 active and 247 retired archdiocesan priests. Your generosity will not only ensure the health and well-being of our priests, but also support their ability to continue meaningful work in our parishes and communities.

You can make a gift online or you may donate at all of our Masses on June 8th (including the Saturday Vigil on June 7th).

Wives are strongly encouraged to accompany their husbands to the meetings. For more information and to register for one of the sessions, contact the Office of the Diaconate at (708) 366-8900.

Annual Catholic Appeal: Together We Bring Hope

Thank you for your support!

This year’s theme for the Annual Catholic Appeal is Together we bring hope. It echoes the theme of the Holy Year Pilgrims of Hope. It also resonates with our efforts of renewal in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Contributions to the Appeal are an effective way to bring hope into our world, especially to those in need.

A portion of donations above our parish goal is returned to us and used for special parish projects. Thanks to past generosity, we've upgraded sound systems, security cameras and installed narthex screens. We'll soon begin restroom upgrades at both churches with proceeds from last year’s campaign!

This year’s rebate helps upgrade our playground, used year-round by both parish and school—let’s make it happen together!

Thank you for your generous support of the Annual Catholic Appeal—your past and present gifts make a lasting impact on our parish and the wider Church!

Gospel in Focus

May 25, 2025 Before He goes to be with the Father, Jesus tells the disciples about the Holy Spirit who will remain with them and guide them. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts betroubled or afraid.” —John 14:27

Discussion Questions

Saying goodbye can be hard. What is a time you had to say goodbye? How do you think the disciples felt in this Gospel passage?

Jesus says “Do not let your hearts be troubled or  afraid.” Are there areas of my life that are troubled and I can trust in His peace?

How is Jesus preparing the disciples for what the Father has in store for them?
