Rain, thunder and lightning couldn't stop our community from enjoying the Griset Club's 48th Annual Pancake Breakfast on February 22nd. BIG thank yous go to Capt’n Kenos, McDonald’s of Encinitas, Walmart of Encinitas, and for our sponsor CPI for their support!

More than 70 members submitted their creative work to be displayed at our annual art exhibition on February 7th. Five to ten art pieces will be selected for submission to BGCA's Regional Art Exhibition. This year, our Youth Arts Academy student rock bands performed at the event and wowed guests! Thank you to our volunteer judges, Doug Fisher, Jeff Maysent and Hugh Leslie as well as everyone who attended!

During the month of February, the Encinitas Ross store sponsored our own Encinitas Clubhouse by inviting their customers to make donations at check out. BGC San Dieguito club members set up a table and greeted customers as they entered the store.

As the National Sponsor of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Power Hour program, Ross stores around the country supported Clubs all over the nation in an effort to fund and support this homework help program.

Thanks to The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch for hosting our Youth Arts Academy rock bands! Our Youth Arts Academy student-created bands put on a free performance at the Plaza and wowed audience members with their stellar sound. Learn more about YAA's rock bands here.
