Dear Skål USA Presidents,
I hope you had a great and productive week! Yesterday, you should have received the below email from Skal International in regards to the Proposed Amendments to the Skal International Statutes and Bylaws along with notice of an Extraordinary General Assembly that is scheduled for Saturday, July 9th at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time. I want to notify you that the Skal USA Executive Committee unanimously approved these amendments and we strongly encourage all clubs to do the same. Further to that, we ask that ALL clubs have a representative/delegate (or 2 delegates for clubs with 2 votes) on the virtual Extraordinary General Assembly call and then vote in favor of these amendments. Our Skal International President Burcin Turkkan will be holding virtual informational meetings in late June to review these amendments/bylaws and we further encourage you to attend one of those calls to be better informed. Dates will soon be announced. You will also have the opportunity there to ask questions to further your understanding where needed.
