Notes from the Editor
I think we all can agree that engaging in something we truly like and believe in can be very rewarding in many ways.
It is through active participation that we achieve success in any endeavor and, when it comes to membership in an organization, club or association this becomes more important as our involvement helps us capitalize on the benefits offered by them.

Message from the CEO
We live in turbulent times in which decision making is essential to define the direction of our companies, professions and life in general. It is therefore essential to understand why it is so important to have sufficient information so that decision making allows us to choose the right path and obtain the best possible result... and the more information, the lower the risk!

Discover Krk, the Golden Island
Only one of the thousand Adriatic islands is golden, Insula Aurea, as it was called in antiquity, the Golden Island of Krk is rich with sunsets, nature, sandy beaches, forests, olive oil, honey, wine, and many more goods that are truly…you guessed it – Golden.
Literally, all roads lead to the island of Krk; from the mainland - over the Krk Bridge, from the sea - by ships to ports or harbors, and ferries to ferry ports, from the air - by plane to the international airport Rijeka located near Omišalj.
By coming to the island of Krk, you have secured an ideal backdrop for all your adventures, but also the beginning of an unforgettable experience that you will, most definitely return to. The proximity and accessibility of this beautiful historical story and interesting past make Krk wonderful and mysterious and this beautiful island can be discovered in all seasons, you can get to know its various settlements that hide millennial cultural monuments and museums and galleries, or you can walk on romantic promenades along the sea and wild shepherd's paths of rocky places with a magnificent view of the nearby hills and neighboring islands of the Kvarner Bay.
The island of Krk offers hundreds of kilometers of groomed and networked hiking and biking trails, unique for hiking for those who like to enjoy the truly stunning views at a slower pace. For those more adventurous, and eager for adrenaline, there is a bike ride.
Lovers of good food and wine will enjoy the flavors of the famous Krk cuisine, the noble drop of Vrbnička žlahtina, and the unique sparkling wine Valomet. Fresh fish, shrimp, crabs, shellfish, many types of side dishes and vegetables are still indispensable in the local cuisine of the islanders. Everything is prepared with Krk olive oil of excellent quality.
The holiday lunch will almost always include homemade pasta dishes - šurlice-valcići, macaroni, gnocchi with various sauces (žvaceta), and especially delicious and appreciated Krk lamb, homemade sheep cheese, Krk prosciutto that bears the mark of excellence.
Take advantage of the benefits of the whole island in the fullness of its rich and diverse accommodation, tourism and wellness, outdoor and catering offer, and experience your island story…
