I am very excited and honored for the opportunity to lead the Skål International USA Delegation at the upcoming 79th SI World Congress as your Skål USA President. As you know the Congress will be taking place between October 17-21, 2018 in Mombasa, Kenya. At this time, we have 30 Skål USA members registered for the Congress representing 14 Clubs including our top 5 largest Clubs of Skål USA. We are still expecting few more clubs to register. The SKÅL International World Congress is a great opportunity to meet Skålleagues from around the globe in person. The congress offers the opportunity to see old friends, make new friends and do business among friends. So, if you are on the fence and concerned if you may be late the answer is No there is still time to register! As you know we have a Pre-Tour organized to Istanbul between October 10-14th. At this time, we have 18 Skålleagues from Skål USA, Skål Mexico and Skål Canada joining us for the Pre-Tour in Istanbul. As emailed earlier the program includes city/ day tours in Istanbul and Skål Dinner Event hosted by SI Istanbul. If you are still interested to register for the pre-tour please email fellow Skålleague Selma Tatar (sultan@sultantours.com.tr) owner of Sultan Tours is our contact point for the booking of this trip.

-Please make sure to apply for your visa to Kenya online at following link; http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html.
Kenya no longer allows visa services at the port of entry, visas must be obtained in advance
-If you are travelling to Pre-Tour - Istanbul, you can get your visa online in following link; https://www.turkey-e-visas.org/ however it is also possible to obtain the visa at the port of entry
-Please check with your doctor at least 5-6 weeks in advance of travel date to see if you are recommended to take any shots before travelling to Kenya.
