BUTLER SKATE NIGHT | FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3

Butler Skate Night

Friday, November 3rd, from 5:30 to 7:30pm

Inline 309 (2117 Bethlehem Pike, Hatfield, PA)

Join your fellow Butler Bears at a fun family event at Inline 309! The inline skating rink is reserved for Butler only during this time. Come out and enjoy. Please, only Butler families.

Cost is $10 per skater - includes admission and inline or regular roller skates. You can bring your own snacks, food, drink, and there are vending machines available.

Please consider bringing some non-perishable foods to donate to local families in need. Let’s support our school community!

Please note, this is NOT a drop-off event.

VENDOR FAIR REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

It's that time of year, we're gearing up for Butler's 10th Annual Vendor Fair on Friday, December 1 from 5-8pm!

The PTO would like to invite any Butler family businesses to participate in the event.

You bring your products to sell and the PTO will provide a large table and 2 chairs for $20.00. (There will be no repeats of exact businesses).

We had a great showing of student tables last year! We would love to have even more student tables this year.

Registration will be accepted until all spots have been filled or 11/10/23. See

The 2023-24 Butler Family Directory is live online here! This is a password protected document. The password was emailed to all parents separately.

If you did not enter your Directory information, please fill in your information here so it can be included in the next publication.

CBSD WANTS YOUR OPINION

The Central Bucks School district has a 3 year plan to Recommend (23-24), Redefine (24-25) and Realign (25-26) in preparation for the realignment of elementary, middle school, and high school grades planned for the 2025-2026 school year. View updates, timelines, FAQs, and a survey for you to submit concerns, questions, comments, etc. here. Be assured that your comments will all be read!

Thanks to all of the families that participated in the Butler Boo. Special thanks to event coordinators Kelly Kauffman, Tricia Doebler, and their volunteer team for your hard work!

BUDGET NOTES

Did you know? The PTO partners with the district to provide landscaping for our Butler Elementary campus. We paid for the end of summer grounds maintenance so Butler was ready to welcome new students with a beautiful appearance both inside and outside of the building.

All volunteer opportunities are subject to change based on District guidelines. We ask that you please refrain from cell phone usage during your volunteer shift. Unfortunately, younger siblings are no longer permitted to accompany volunteers.

The Butler Bears Apparel Store is now open online! This online store will be open year-round and orders may be placed at any time and ship right to your home. Choose from more than 100 items of various colors and designs for the entire family! Questions? Contact Amy.

YOU MUST HAVE CLEARANCES TO VOLUNTEER

In order to volunteer in the classroom, you must have current volunteer clearances through CBSD. Questions? Contact Erin McCreary.

The process is EASY and all done online using the Volunteer Tracker App. Every CB volunteer will need to register, and upload their clearances.

Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. Click here for the required clearances, along with links to the state’s websites.
