Welcome to our Spring Season

We are excited to be starting our Spring season on Monday, April 14. All classes are held at the Cooperators Centre (1700 Elphinstone Street). When you enter the main entrance to the rink, there will be a TV screen that will list the rink and dressing room Skate Regina is assigned. Please only use the dressing rooms that are assigned to Skate Regina and do not leave valuables unattended in the dressing rooms. Detailed class emails will be sent out to Pre-power, Power, Parent Assist/CanSkate and Jr Prep classes this week. Please check the start dates for each class in the calendar links below or by logging into your Skate Regina account and clicking on the calendar icon to see all the dates for your skater's class.

Summer Registration

The Summer registration will open to Skate Regina members on Tuesday, April 22nd at 8:00 am. Skate Regina members who have skated with us anytime from September 2024 to June 2025 will receive a priority link to register. This link will be the only way to access the classes because the classes will not show up on the registration page until it opens to non-members on Thursday, April 24th at 8:00 am. A Skate Regina member are those skaters who had their Skate Canada membership processed with Skate Regina. Click the links below for more information on our Summer programs.

Fundraising

Dieleman Boxed Greeting Cards - fundraising for Spring season

One of your favourite products is back again. The Big Deal Box Cards - 40 hand-crafted greeting cards in an organized storage box. 40 cards for $35.00 - less than $1 per card!

In addition to the box cards, the Dieleman online catalogue has something for everyone:

· Gourmet popcorn

This is an easy, virtual fundraiser since you can simply email your friends and families asking them to order and their order can either be delivered to them (for a fee) or directly to Skate Regina (free of charge).

Orders open on April 14^th and close on May 9^th.

To meet this fundraising commitment and earn back your $35 fundraising fee, skaters need to sell $100 worth of product. All orders will be placed online. Once Skate Regina’s order has been completed, the $35.00 fundraising commitment will be refunded back to your credit card, if applicable.

Skate Regina AGM

Skate Regina will be holding their Annual General Meeting on June 10th at 6:00pm at the Cooperators Centre. Click on the links below to see the positions Skate Regina will be looking to fill at the AGM.

Figure Skaters/Star Skaters

We are very excited to welcome our skaters back to the ice for the Spring Season. We know that skaters may be absent from time to time from their sessions. If your skater is registered in an Open/FreeSkate/Star session and receives private lessons, please email Vicki Schultz (vickischultz@me.com) by 12:00pm/noon on the day of the absence. Vicki creates the coaching schedules for our coaches so if an absence is not reported then it could result in the lesson time being billed to you.

Star off ice classes - If your skater is registered in one of our Posture/Stretch, Jump, Performance, or Star 1-6 off ice classes this Spring, please wait outside of the rink Skate Regina is skating and the coach will meet the skaters and take them to the off ice location.

We are offering an option to purchase a Skate Regina jersey. Cost is $25.00 and comes in sizes Youth XS/S, Youth MD/LG or Adult XS/S. Jerseys can be purchased on our Skate Regina website. For skaters who purchased a jersey at the time of Spring registration, the jersey will be given out during the first Pre-Power or Power class.
