We are excited to offer Ski Club to all Trinity students again this year! This is an opportunity for families to take advantage of a discounted group rate at Swiss Valley Ski Resort in Jones, Michigan, during the months of January and February.
Registration will be open through Friday, October 25.
Because Swiss Valley Ski Resort is about an hour away from campus, two charter buses are being reserved as a transportation option available to students at an additional cost. Please note that there are a limited number of spots (100) on the charter buses, and seats will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Based on registration numbers in past years, our hope is that this will accommodate every student who wants to participate in Ski Club. That said, it is possible that the buses will fill up, so interested families are encouraged to register sooner, rather than later. Please bear in mind that registration alone is not sufficient to reserve your child's seat on the bus. Payment must also be submitted to reserve a seat.
While it is an option for you as a parent to drive your child to and from Swiss Valley, our school policy does not allow students to drive themselves, their siblings, or their fellow students to and from an extracurricular activity that is more than a 40 minute drive from campus.
Ski Club is a parent-organized extracurricular activity. Mr. Gionfriddo is the faculty sponsor and Trinity parents Jen and Bob Kuhns are the organizers. Full details about Ski Club are shared in the online Google form linked below, but if you have any questions that are not answered here or in the registration form, feel free to reach out to Mrs. Kuhns at jcsmile2000@gmail.com.
