Ski to the Trees!
Can you tell the difference between a Jeffrey and sugar pine? White and red fir?  Learn to identify trees in the Sierra on this special  skate ski and lunch combo. We aim to skate ski about 20km of trail with some elevation gain and short stops to talk about trees. 
When: April 14 at 9:30am
Where: Tahoe XC 
Cost: $25, includes class and lunch ( Cost does not cover trail pass. Special day pass rates are available for $22.)

Your guide: Tim Hauserman wrote the official guidebook to the Tahoe Rim Trail and Cross-Country Skiing in the Sierra Nevada. He worked as a hiking guide for over 15 years, runs the Strider Glider program and often writes about outdoor Tahoe adventures. 

All proceeds go to supporting TCCSEA youth programs.
