Workshop #1: 
Chronic Graft-versus-Host Disease of the Skin and Connective Tissue
Speaker: Catherine Lee, MD  

Dr. Lee will discuss how chronic GVHD can affect the skin and connective tissues following a transplant using donor cells and therapies available to manage it.   
 
Dr. Catherine Lee
   

Dr. Catherine Lee is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/BMT at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah. She specializes in blood stem cell transplants for the treatment of hematologic diseases in adult patients.
 
Dr. Lee is developing clinical trials for the treatment of chronic GVHD and she co-leads a chronic GVHD/long-term follow-up program to help patients monitor and manage their chronic GVHD. She also provides medical care specific to other long-term and late effects of blood stem cell transplantation.
 
Workshop #2: Your Eyes and Chronic Graft-versus-Host Disease
Speaker: John Irvine, MD 

Learn the symptoms of chronic GVHD in your eyes following a transplant using donor cells and therapies available to treat it.
 
Dr. John Irvine is the Medical Director of Doheny Eye Centers UCLA and a member of the Department of Ophthalmology at UCLA. He specializes in cornea/external disease and works closely with the Hematology/Oncology group at City of Hope Cancer Hospital providing in house consultation and outpatient evaluations/therapy for patients with ocular problems stemming from chronic graft-versus-host disease.
 
Among his many distinguished postitions prior to joining UCLA, Dr. Irvine was Chief of the Cornea Division and Medical Director for the PROSE service at Doheny/USC.

Workshop #3: Your Mouth and Chronic Graft-versus-Host Disease
Speaker: Nathaniel S. Treister, DMD DMSc

Dr. Treister will discuss the symptoms of chronic GVHD in your mouth following a transplant using donor cells and therapies available to treat it.
 
Dr. Nathaniel Treister
   

Dr. Nathaniel Treister is Chief of the Divisions of Oral Medicine and Dentistry at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. He has published extensively in the field of oral medicine with an emphasis on oral complications of hematopoietic cell transplantation and chronic graft-versus-host disease.
 
Dr. Treister completed his Oral Medicine certificate and Oral Biology doctoral training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he is an Associate Professor of Oral Medicine in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection and Immunity.
