What is Skin DEEP?
Skin DEEP helps people and organizations begin the difficult discussion of race & racism and its impact on families.
The course fills a necessary gap in our awareness by recognizing the humanity in acknowledging different experiences within the child welfare system by families of color.
The course is online and on-demand and creates a cultural learning hub in a protected space for individuals and organizations.
The Skin DEEP course is for people who work with families, trainers who consult about families, and people who make decisions about families.
SafeGenerations is proud to be a part of the Skin DEEP Lecturers. Skin DEEP incorporates the voices of 12 individuals bringing a diversity of perspective, lived experiences, and true allyship.
