Share Your Experience, Score a Day Out

Have a favorite Skokie dining destination? From February 1 to 29, share a photo of your food (before you dig in!) or a selfie on location and tag @ExploreSkokie on Instagram. Be sure to mention the name of the restaurant and include #DineAroundSkokie in the caption! You’ll automatically be entered for a chance to win a full day of food and fun in Skokie ($150 value).

Calling All Artists!

Skokie painters, actors, musicians, photographers, writers, sculptors, cinematographers, animators, illustrators, fashion designers, graphic designers, jewelry designers, textile artists... all are welcome to attend the Artists Networking Event hosted by the Village's Fine Arts Commission at Sketchbook on Tuesday, February 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Connect with other Skokie artists while meeting members of the Fine Arts Commission and learning what they do to support the arts in Skokie. Cash bar. Light snacks will be provided.

Explore Skokie: Sushi On Rotation

Looking for a fun dining experience the whole family will enjoy? Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, 9741 Skokie Blvd., satisfies customers with a rotating (literally) array of sushi options, plus a little help from a robot waiter.

Sneak peek: Get an inside look at Kura on the Village’s Explore Skokie Facebook and Instagram channels.
