What is Skyline Cares Exactly?
Skyline Cares was created to provide opportunities for our Austin Skyline Family to support our local communities while encouraging civic engagement and leadership amongst our athletes and families

Why is this important?
The mission of Skyline Juniors is to be one of the highest quality clubs in the nation that will go the extra mile to develop and showcase our athletes. We will constantly strive to enable both our players and our coaches to reach their full potential. Part of developing our athletes to reach their full potential is helping them to develop their leadership skills and provide opportunities for them to make the world around them a better place. Through Skyline Cares, not only are we able to support our community, but we're providing those leadership opportunities off the court for our athletes. These leadership qualities not only help them as individual athletes, but enhances their ability to be great teammates on the court. These opportunities also help strengthen the bonds within and between our Skyline families as they work together to address issues facing our community as a whole.

What have we done in the past?
  • Created and sent cards to residents in nursing homes who are alone during the pandemic
  • Placed Yard Signs in the yards of deserving teachers while trying to pivot and teach from home
  • Surprised Healthcare workers at hospitals with Taco shack tacos and yard signs
  • Hosted a food drive for Central Texas Food Bank
  • Hosted a donation drive for Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter
  • Provided Thank you gifts for Skyline Coaches
  • Made artwork on the sidewalks of our Skyline Seniors showing them how proud we are of them
  • Hosted a donation drive for Agape Resource Center
  • Hosted a donation drive for the Residents of Marbridge
  • School Supply Drive

Who is the intended audience to support (the community impact)?
Austin Skyline Juniors is a diverse group of families. We have a variety of interests and issues that speak to all of us. Because of our diversity, Skyline Cares is committed to serving our community in a variety of ways. If a member of our family has an idea for how we can support others, we are open to considering helping how we're able to do so. Additionally, the intended audience is our athletes and families. Skyline Cares is also committed to providing opportunities for our athletes and families to work together and to bond over shared giving. And finally, we are committed to providing opportunities for these athletes to develop their leadership skills and learn more about community giving and how to be a person who makes the world around them a better place.

How can I be involved with Skyline Cares?
It is easy! Just email us at austinskylinecares@gmail.com and ask how you can be involved. Your participation no matter how big or small, we would love to have you! Anyone in your family can be a part of Skyline Cares.
