Hurricane Hilary has caused flash flooding here in Palm Springs.

At least the phones are still working!

It's a good time for me to work on my new project...

I have almost completed a new Slim Man Bona Fide EP.

I’m putting it up on Kickstarter to raise the funds to finish it.

Let me explain…

EP stands for Extended Play. It’s kinda like a mini-album, usually 4 to 6 songs. In this case, we’re doing 6 songs and a bonus track.

Three Slim Man songs. Three Bona Fide songs. And a bonus track.

This collection of coolness goes up on Kickstarter this Tuesday.

Kickstarter is a platform for creative people to find funding for their projects.

People make pledges and get cool rewards. Kickstarter calls these folks "backers."

I call them...Slimvestors!

You can pledge $12 and get a digital download of the new Slim Man Bona Fide EP.

You can pledge $50 and get 5 signed CDs of the new EP. 

Want a couple signed CDs, a mug, a tote bag?

That's one of the rewards.

There are all kinds of rewards. All the way up to $5,000.

The Kickstarter campaign starts Tuesday, August 22nd at 10 AM ET.

The more Slimvestors who pledge on Debut Tuesday, the better our chances of being a Top Pick on Kickstarter.

Which is kind of a big deal. It packs a lot of promo punch. Puts more eyeballs on it!

So, on Tuesday morning, grab a jug of Joy Juice, check out the Kickstarter campaign and make a pledge if you can.

You’ll sleep better at night knowing you've kicked in to the cause!

The EP is sounding great! I can’t wait for you Slim People to hear it.

The recording is top shelf, the production is major league, and the musicianship is stellar!

Marc Antoine, Peter White, Paul Brown, Philippe Saisse, all make appearances. And the Slim Man Band has never sounded better.
